My name is Sandra Correll and I am a Family Photographer. I specialize in Maternity, Birth, Newborns, Infants and Children. I can think of nothing better as this combines all of my life’s passions into one!
A little about me – I’m a work-at-home-mom (except for when I’m at a shoot!) to a beautiful little girl named Clara. At the time I am writing this she is 4 1/2, and trust me, the 1/2 is extremely important to her 
I am married to a wonderful and supportive husband, Greg. I am so fortunate to have a family that is so supportive and eager to see me succeed in my artistic endeavors!
My father gave me my first camera when I was about 4 years old – of course it was a very small, pink one. I took photos of my stuffed animals on the front porch and likely my own feet. I received my first SLR camera several years later – somewhere around 9-11 years old though I’m not 100% sure when! It was a little 110 film pentax and I was instantly in love. I didn’t know it at the time but it was the beginning of a love that would through into what has become my career!
I enjoyed the art of photography over the years, and realized photography was something I wanted to do for a living soon after I met my husband in 2001. Over the next few years I learned as much as I could, practiced my skills, acquired equipment whenever possible and developed my own sense of style.
During this time I spent some years globe trotting and adventuring with my husband,among those adventures included living in the Cayman Islands and spending 3 years working as dorm parents for about 40 international students, aged 12-19 for a private school. It was during this time that our daughter Clara was born and it seemed like it was time to settle down
In September 2008 we moved to Santa Clarita, California where I decided it was finally time to set up shop. I worked hard to put together a portfolio and jumped in!
The following June I had an experience that changed my life – I photographed my first birth. It was like everything in my life up until that moment was preparing me for that experience. I fell in love with the whole experience and vowed to make it a big part of my business.
Since I started my business it has been the happiest and most fulfilling time of my life. I am so thankful every day for the gifts I have been given and the opportunities I have to use my talents to help provide for my family. I just love meeting new people and being a part of their lives during such a special time, whether it be their birth, their pregnancy, their new baby or the childhoods of their children. I am overwhelmed with love for each and every family I work with and strive to give them a beautiful record of their beloved memories.
