Little Elena’s Daddy had better start brushing up on his interrogation skills – there are going to be a lot of boys knocking down the door when she grows up!
I had the pleasure of being present to photograph little Elena’s “birthday” last week and was thrilled to see her again for some newborn photos. She is such a little angel, I have marveled over her beauty several times while I’m editing!
Enjoy your sneak peek Sandy and Mari! It has been truly a great time getting to know you guys, I hope to see you again sometime as little Elena grows!

Well, I’m not, but this couple does!
A few weeks ago I had the honour of photographing the birth of little Parker as he came into the world. His parents Jon and Jessica are both firefighters and today they came for a newborn shoot! We had great fun using aspects of their gear, as well as a pair of cowboy boots as they also enjoy horseback riding. Parker did a great job and we got some pretty great shots!
Enjoy your sneak peek guys, it has been great getting to know you three and seeing how much little Parker has grown in a few short weeks!

In five short weeks, this family has worked their way into my heart! Five weeks ago I met the Ceballos family for the first time to do their maternity photos. Just one week later on July the 4th, I had the honour of documenting their baby boy’s entrance to the world. And last night I had the pleasure of seeing little Jacob once again to photograph him in all his newborn glory.
I always feel like I have a special bond to my clients and their babies when I am there to photograph their birth and this family is no exception. Baby Jacob and his family (and his super cool grandma!) will always hold a special place in my heart.
Choosing photos for a sneak peak for this session was hard, so I decided to forget being selective and just do a mega-post!
This first one is kind of special – if you saw Melissa’s maternity photos, this scarf was used in one of her belly photos and we thought it would be a neat idea to use it again for a special Mommy-Newbie photo. I love the way the deep tones of the scarf go so well with Melissa’s dark complexion and features – the warm colours just bring out how warm of a person she really is.

I absolutely died laughing when I saw this next one on my LCD. We all had a good laugh.
I think his lips look like Pingu… below.

Pingu:

Hee hee.
Moving on…

And lastly, the whole happy family

Thanks for letting me be a part of this special time of your lives and I hope to be part of more
