Santa Clarita, CA and Los Angeles, CA Children’s Photographer – Bella and Eva – Clicky Photography by Sandra Correll

Oh my these little girls were so sweet.

We had a great time and it was so fun getting to know their little personalities (which both of them have a lot of!)   Polar opposites, and it shows!  I love the ones in front of the silver paneling, with Bella being super girly and Eva heaving the rock!! LOL.

Enjoy your sneak peek!

Fun, unbelievably gorgeous brothers and sisters.  I’m compelled to meet their parents.

Enjoy guys – I tried to pick the fun ones for the sneak peek – you’ll see the more boring ones later ;)

From a Beautiful Mama… to a Beautiful Baby Boy.

In five short weeks, this family has worked their way into my heart! Five weeks ago I met the Ceballos family for the first time to do their maternity photos. Just one week later on July the 4th, I had the honour of documenting their baby boy’s entrance to the world. And last night I had the pleasure of seeing little Jacob once again to photograph him in all his newborn glory.

I always feel like I have a special bond to my clients and their babies when I am there to photograph their birth and this family is no exception. Baby Jacob and his family (and his super cool grandma!) will always hold a special place in my heart.

Choosing photos for a sneak peak for this session was hard, so I decided to forget being selective and just do a mega-post!

This first one is kind of special – if you saw Melissa’s maternity photos, this scarf was used in one of her belly photos and we thought it would be a neat idea to use it again for a special Mommy-Newbie photo. I love the way the deep tones of the scarf go so well with Melissa’s dark complexion and features – the warm colours just bring out how warm of a person she really is.

I absolutely died laughing when I saw this next one on my LCD.  We all had a good laugh.

I think his lips look like Pingu… below.

Pingu:

Hee hee.

Moving on… ;-)

And lastly, the whole happy family :)

Thanks for letting me be a part of this special time of your lives and I hope to be part of more :)

Baby Jacob’s Birth

  • July 5, 2010 5:19 pm

Yesterday in the wee hours of the morning I had the pleasure of photographing the incredible birth of baby Jacob.

His mommy Melissa was attempting a VBAC delivery (vaginal birth after c-section) and it was looking for a while like it was going to end in a repeat cesarean due to many hours of not progressing past 4cm, putting the risk for uterine rupture higher. However, just when it got down to the wire, things started progressing well – and little Jacob made it into the world without surgical intervention! So proud of Melissa who was a champ, her Mom and her husband Omar who supported her all the way. Special thanks to the family of Melissa and Omar who accepted me into their family for the long haul!

So, without further ado, allow me to present to you the story of Baby Jacob – born on Independence Day and from what I understand he is quite the little firecracker ;)

Since the little man was born in Independence Day, I thought it appropriate to include some photos of the fireworks show from the day he was born.

Dimples, just for fun.

A few weeks back I took a few snaps of Kaelyn, the daughter of a friend of mine while I was watching her and her brother Jude for the evening.  I lost too much evening light before I could grab a few of Jude but managed to get a cute little silhouette of the two of them.

They have now moved off to the east coast as of last week, and will be greatly missed.
